Our short stay hospice pulled from a high kill shelter.  15yrs old with a frail little body of neglect.  The list of medical problems was long for him.  We could tell that he didn't have the best of care in his last few years.  What we do know is his last 3 weeks were full of pup cups, foods he loved, baths that he loved and we said goodbye on his favorite swing on my lap.  Fly high little sweet friend.....

Binx is another one of our heartbreakers.  We pulled Binx out of the high kill shelter within hours of euthanasaia.  He came to us 10yrs old with a high grade heart murmur, a rectal mass and of course not neutered.  We immediately took care of all of his needs and got him over to Montana to his adopter.  Shortly after Binx had been diagnosed with severe pancreatitis that couldn't be treated because of his poor heart condition.   His new owner had to say goodbye after one short week with him.  We were all so devastated.  We find peace in knowing his story ended with love and in a beautiful environment and  not a high kill shelter.  Fly high Binxy boy.  Say hello to the others.

Liver Cancer

Tina was a loner while here, snuggled into the back of our dog home and made it "her" spot.  Just enjoyed her last weeks here on the farm.  She spent a lot of time outside watching the resident mini pony.  Almost like she knew him from another time.   She enjoyed Idaho weather, Im sure over desert heat.  Fly high sweet girl.

Acute Kidney Failure 

We gave Fessy a great end to his story.  Although short, we made lots of quality memories and filled his days with love.  He really acted and moved like a distinguished sweet gentleman.  ​Fly high sweet man.  Say hello to the others.

Heart failure

Although Lil Man was only with us a short month, we packed in lots of love every day.  We took him out of a shelter, knowing he was in heart failure and that time could be short.  As always, we hope for more but his heart couldn't go anymore and on 3/15/2026, he took his trip to see Rosie.  Fly high, sweet face...
